We "officially" meet in our Senior Year at Northeast High School, but we have had an encounter before back in Sophomore year when Roberto asked Diana for her gatorade and offered to pay a dollar for it, which Diana agreed and we did our exchange and went about our day. Regardless our "official" encounter was back in Senior Year in 7th period, Mr.Guran's English Honors class. We sat in alphabetical order, Roberto last name was Diaz and Diana last name was Flores Castro so we were right next to each other, Roberto sat in front and Diana sat right behind him. Roberto would "purposely" drop Diana's Hydro flask that she brought to school everyday and since she sat right behind him it gave him a perfect opportunity to drop the water bottle but not only that a perfect opportunity to talk to her. Several water bottle drops is what it took for Roberto to finally ask "What's your instagram?" little did we know that's all it took for us to become close friends. Due To Covid-19 schools shut down and everyone was isolated but regardless of the isolation and not being able to see each other we would constantly text one another and call for hours even when we were at work. Even when we could not see each other and apart that was the peak of use becoming really close friends and having feelings for one another.

May 4th, It was the morning off and Diana received a message from Roberto saying "are you free today? i would like to take you out for lunch and after go to the pier" It has been also 4 years since the last time we both went to the pier so off the bat Diana knew something was up but didn't think much about it. After agreeing it became 2pm and we went out to lunch to Rocco's Tacos, you can see on Roberto face that he was very anxious and Diana kept asking if everything was okay and He kept saying yes. We enjoyed our lunch and then after we went to the pier. Once we arrived at the pier we were sightseeing all the boats and seeing the calm waters, he pointed out a cruise ship and of course diana looked and once she turned back around Roberto was on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hands and he said the line Diana has been waiting for... "Diana I love you so much and you mean so much to me, will you marry me?" Diana staring to get all flustered but excited said Yes! and it was the happiest thing that has every happened to both.
