WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We met briefly through a friend on a dancing event. We become close friends a couple months later, had late night calls, texts and started sharing each and everything such as childhood memories, school, sports, music... And one day on October 14, 2015 Luis invited Anahi to their first date by a phone call and agreed to meet up on South Jordan Station late afternoon. When we started talking we realized we had so much in common, we had this instant connection to do many activities through the night. First stop at Olive Garden, we had laugh so hard and enjoyed a good Italian food. Then walk around Temple Square and downtown SLC. Third stop but not least we went to the Nightmare 13, where we had our first picture taken. Luis didn't want the night to end so fast and want it to do it more special, so he drove up to one of his favorite places Ensign Peak "The View". The rest, as they say, is history.

We went to Los Angeles, CA to renew Luis's passport. Luis wanted to go to Santa Monica Pier before we headed back to Utah. We were taking a couple pictures, when I looked over, he was down on one knee. I was excited and surprised, it took me a couple seconds to react. I shouted "YES", and we're engaged on MAY 30, 2016. We're so excited to celebrate this next step in our journey with each of you, who have played (and will continue to play) such an important part in our adventure! We apologize in advance for sending the invitation a week before our wedding date. See you in Provo!
