The story of David and Diana began like many modern day romances do, online. They met on Bumble, a dating app where girls message first. Diana saw David's quirky personality and questionable mustache through all of his photos and she decided that the best way to approach the conversation was to sarcastically compliment his mustache. His quick wit response to Diana is what evolved the conversation into more. Two weeks later, they met for their first date. Diana must have known that David was the one after falling for him...on ice. They continued to date medium distance for two and a half years often seeing each other only on weekends. Over the summer, David and Diana went on a camping trip with a few of their close friends. David took Diana to get ice cream to cool down. David wanted to take a detour to reminisce and they went to Garvin Heights to overlook the city of Winona, where they originally met. David got down on one knee and popped the question. After a shocked "no" that was eventually a "yes", they did get their ice cream.
