Maid of Honor
Who’s that girl? It’s Jess! Always sticking to a schedule and keeping everyone in line, her whole life has been preparing her for the role of Maid of Honor. Jess went to SMU to study political science in hopes of one day becoming Leslie Knope. She is an advocate for her local library. Jess is so excited to officially welcome Daniel into the family. Many things have changed since Diana and Jess first met in middle school but their love for Panic at the Disco! remains unbreakable.

Diana and I lived on the same street growing up. Birchlawn Drive serves a book of memories from the times we were late to class, to the many hours we spent studying (mostly Diana) , and the the many times we spent having fun. Diana has always encouraged me to be the best version of myself. We were both enrolled in the BioMedical Academy. Diana found out she wanted to help others whereas I found out that I pass out from the sight of blood. Since then, Diana has supported me & my entire Real Estate career and I have watched her grow into a more and more amazing human daily. She’s also an amazing alternative to Web-MD (way more precise). I am honored to be by her side. If you are looking for me at the wedding, I will most likely be at the bar or crying in the restroom.

Although I grew up on Birchlawn Drive with Diana and Edina, I ran off to Portland, Oregon where I’ve settled down (for now). Previously, I was spotted living in St. Louis, Madrid, and Phoenix, which has given Diana plenty of excuses to come visit me. Some of my favorite memories with Diana include my host parents in Madrid taking us bar hopping, walking around the Parisian night market, and this wedding (since I already know it’ll be a night to remember)! So excited to see these two getting hitched!

If there’s coffee and music you’ll find me, and that’s exactly what so much of my friendship with Diana has looked like. Just now we also add wine to that. I am a designer, photographer and musician, and Diana has been an incredible model for all my stages of creativity. It’s been an honor to watch her grow and change through my camera lens, and so happy to have Daniel in the picture now too, literally!

It was a brisk and drizzly evening the night that Ivana first met Diana. It was Ivana's birthday, and she knew the party would require three things to make it a successful night. 1.) Music. 2.) Dancing. 3.) Maybe a little drink or two. As soon as Daniel & Diana walked in the door, a Young Thug song started playing, drinks were passed, dancing started and it was as if a match had been struck & lit fireworks. Some of Ivana's favorite memories with Diana include: cooking for nearly 12 hours for Daniel’s BBQ and then having to lay on the floor for 20 minutes as soon as the party started and experiencing uncontrollable laughter during Twilight marathons. Ivana currently lives in Seattle, WA, with her significant other and enjoys dancing, cooking, playing video games, Dragon Ball Z and coffee.

I’m going to KISS this (Keep it Short & Sweet. First name Ali - real name Alicia! Challenging the world isn’t easy, but I feel like I do it well. I am an extremely grateful and proud bridesmaid for this wedding. I met Diana when I was a Junior in HS, she automatically stood out - driven, intelligent, compassionate and a ball of love. Also, I remember the emo kid hair cut we all strive to rock. ;) I’m a software consultant who wants to change the world but the one thing I can never change is true love. Love is a friendship that has caught fire; so may your love burn bright for years to come. Just a really excited participant cheering on my friend and her new best friend! Pony Up! ⁃ XOXO, A

Daniel and Jacob have been friends since they were knee high to a grasshopper. At a foolishly young age they performed a blood brother ritual which irrevocably intertwined their fates together. The world at large has yet to understand the full consequences of this event...

Hi! I’m Marcos, I’m Daniel's little brother by 4 years. I currently live in Boulder, Colorado. I moved out here to get my degree in Aerospace Engineering and since then I've really loved it, so I decided to stay. In my spare time I really like being outside and hiking, climbing, or just spending time with friends. Daniel has been a huge influence in my life from video games (destroying me in Super Smash Bros. Melee) , music, food, great alcohol, and life direction. Can't really say I would really be in the place where I'm at now without him, so I'm really grateful for that, as well as sorry (but not really) for all of the times I annoyed him. I've been really honored to see Diana and Daniel's relationship grow and and I'm really excited for this wedding, so congratulations to them!

I live in NYC with my beautiful wife, Sara, and child on the way. I enjoy music, tennis, and long, romantic walks on the beach. I attribute 98.3% of the joy in my life to being a groomsman in Daniel’s wedding. Our journey began in 2014 after being matched as roommates at Emory. I thought I had a grasp on the world, but everything changed when I met Daniel - an international man of mystery who possessed the foot of my bed so he can have a 24/7 view of the McTyeire hallway. There was something…different about Daniel, and I was going to find out what it was. An undergraduate degree was not enough. I had to go on to get a Master’s in public health and a law degree to figure it out–and can now say with 100% certainty–that Daniel is simply a total stud. The research did, in fact, confirm this.

Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up here as part of Daniel and Diana’s wedding… Well, it’s not too much of a mystery. After finishing medical school in Galveston, I made my way over to Fort Worth into residency where I met Daniel. We began to know each other as comrades through countless days and nights working in the hospital trenches and quickly found out how much we had in common. Fast-forward to now, on any given weekend (or the occasional weekday off), you can find us mixing up cocktails, making fires, grilling meat, leather working, playing guitar, enjoying a cigar- you get the idea. I am honored to have also met Diana and am privileged in witnessing their relationship grow. I think I speak for all of us that this wedding will be one for the books. Felicidades!!

Marcos is a resident physician in Austin. He met Daniel in medical school and their nights have been filled with games and fancy cocktails ever since. Despite medical school and residency aging them in numerous and indescribable ways, they have remained close. Marcos likes iced coffee, queso, and video games.
