Question

What should I wear to the Welcome Event?

Answer

Miami dressy-casual. Light, comfortable outfits in warm-weather fabrics. For women: dresses, matching sets, or tailored pants with dressy sandals, wedges, or comfortable heels. For men: knit polos or collared button-downs with chinos or linen pants, paired with loafers, boat shoes, or clean leather sneakers. No shorts, no flip-flops, and no beach sandals. Please avoid full white outfits. Please see our Pinterest Board for Inspo. https://pin.it/48GqphZ7r

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be garden black-tie optional, with groomsmen in classic tuxedos and bridesmaids in champagne satin gowns. We’d love for our guests to embrace the occasion with formal eveningwear that feels elegant, joyful, and perfect for celebrating under the stars. For women, ankle- or floor-length gowns are ideal; for men, a tuxedo or dark suit with a tie. The celebration will take place outdoors on the estate’s lawn and courtyard, so think flowing fabrics that move in the breeze and shoes that feel comfortable on the grass. For inspiration, check out "Wedding Attire" tab.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes. Valet parking will be available for guests who prefer to drive. We also recommend using a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft for convenience and ease.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

What’s the weather like in Miami in April?

Answer

April in Miami is typically warm and breezy, with temperatures averaging in the mid-70s to low-80s. In the evening, the waterfront setting brings a gentle breeze — most guests will be perfectly comfortable without an extra layer, but if you tend to run cold, a light shawl will be all you need.

Question

What are Miami's Neighborhoods like?

Answer

Coconut Grove – A relaxed, charming waterfront neighborhood with leafy streets, great restaurants, boutique hotels, and a youthful, artsy feel. It’s one of the closer major areas to Palmetto Bay where our venue is located. Coral Gables – A historic, elegant neighborhood known for its Mediterranean architecture, walkable downtown, and iconic hotels. It offers a quiet, refined stay while still being conveniently located. Brickell – Miami’s modern urban hub with luxury hotels, high-rise views, and plenty of dining and nightlife. Great for guests who prefer a sleek, city atmosphere. Miami Beach – Perfect for anyone wanting a classic Miami vacation. Offers a wide range of hotel options, beach access, and vibrant nightlife, though it’s farther from the venue than the other neighborhoods.

Question

Where are the couple and wedding party staying?

Answer

We’ll be staying at the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Coconut Grove, where we’ve secured a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $299/night for Studio Kings (max 2 occupants) and $379 for Double King (max 4 occupants).
