We’re getting married!

Our love story begins when Anwar and Diana, two complete strangers, found one another online, very original and suiting for the 21st century and the pandemic. After scrolling through each other’s Instagrams, Anwar messaged Diana where they found a conversation over their mutual love for the TV show Friends. Within less than a week of first messaging Diana, due to other priorities Anwar thought it would be best to stop until he had more time, promising her that he would see her once he had the time. Being skeptical, Diana thought she’d never hear back from him again, but in keeping his word, Anwar asked Diana to go out on their first date on May 7th, 2021. Anwar and Diana began their adventure by sharing dates (تمر) and sushi together for Iftar and ended with Diana eating all of their ice cream. Today, through all the sushi, ice cream and long distance that they have gone through, they will be, InshAllah, tying the knot on their love because they found peace with each other.
