It all a started when my co worker Shuanna mentioned that she knew the perfect man for me. I wasn’t really looking at the time because I planned on moving back to my hometown after working at Mainstreet Dental clinics for 2 years. We had a work party September 12, 2020, and shuanna had a plan that night was going to be the night I met Alec. We were at Legends ( a bar in Rochester), and in walked this man and we made eye contact and I turned way right away. Shuanna was talking to Alec’s parents and told them that I was the girl that she was going to play match maker with their son. Alec came up to me and said Hi I’m Alec can I sit here and I said Hi my name is Diana sure you can. Fast forward two hours and we sat there and talked and he bought me a BudLight (I hated budlight at the time) His parents were watching from a far and never seen Alec interact with a girl before like he was with me. As the night went on we made our way back to Shuanna’s for some Karaoke. We sang and laughed. I eventually made my way home and neither of us got each other’s numbers. A week goes by and I finally get a text from Alec asking if he could take me out on a date. On our date night, of course Shuanna came over to my apartment and had a beer with me to calm my nerves. We went on our date two weeks later to Crave. During our date I knew that he was my soulmate I just didn’t want to admit it quite yet! Saturday he hung out with his bros in the cities, and on Sunday I got a call that he will be at my apartment with breakfast, mind you I was still in my pj, haven’t shower, or brushed my teeth. I panicked. We hung out all day Sunday. After that Sunday we were inseparable! We went on more dates, I met his grandparents before I even became his girlfriend (he told them I was his girlfriend) ha! On October 17th we’re heading to the cities for his cousins house warming party, and he asked me the “so what are we? Are we boyfriend and girlfriend?” And I said well what would you like to be? And he said I would love for you to be my girlfriend? And I said are you asking me? And he said yes and I said yes! And the rest is history!
