The Orthodox Church (also known as Eastern Orthodox) is the original Christian Church founded by Jesus Christ and continued by his Apostles, established on the Day of Pentecost circa 33 A.D. (Acts 2). It is the same Church described in the Bible as the Body of Christ and the Bride of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 5:23-25). Our Faith is ancient and it is founded upon the love of God who so loved the world that He sent His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to us that we might by His example learn to truly live and, by His death and resurrection, to be freed from the tyranny of sin. If it's your first time stepping into an Orthodox Church, the first thing you might notice are beautiful Icons decorating the parish. These depict the life and history of the Church, and serve as a means of remembrance and preservation of our Faith. Orthodox Christianity is fundamental and deeply cherished by the bride and groom, Diana & Alec, as it embodies their love of Christ, Holy Tradition, and preservation of Truth. We hope you enjoy the rich and beautiful outpouring of love from the Church and are grateful for your attendance.
