On a Friday, January 13th, we met in person after meeting virtually through work calls in December of 2022. Funny enough, we had gotten into a dispute for a couple of weeks regarding the company vehicle, but upon seeing each other, all that disappeared and we hit it off! I took him to some questionable areas in DFW and his tenacity is what drew him to me, while my driving and humor got him. Upon becoming friends, we later met up with a friend, Karla, and went to Dallas for some drinks, where Jake officially asked me out. The following day we had our first date at the Dallas Arboretum and our story officially began. We've gone on many scenic road trips, stressful sporting events, with many more adventures planned. Currently, we have 2 dogs, a scruffy, fiesty little shitzu named Chimi and our lovely little Nala, who Jake partnered with to propose to me (the Chiweenie in our pictures!).
