Our wedding location is Monterrey, Mexico. Diana is thrilled to be able to get married in her hometown. She left Monterrey 12+ years ago, but this city will forever have a very special place her heart. Nelson was born in San Pedro, Honduras. He lived in Honduras until the age of 8 years old. His Parents and siblings currently reside in Saltillo, Mexico. Just under an hour drive from Monterrey. We hope you can share with us this special day that we will remember forever. Nelson and Diana got engaged during a trip to Anna Maria, Florida. They favorite place to vacation during the summer. During the second day of their trip, they decided to have dinner by the beach. But first, they went for a walk in the sand along the beach. Nelson wanted to look for turtle eggs. Diana thought it was silly. Especially when he pointed at one that ended up being a leaf. As they got closer, Diana heard music playing in the distance and spotted a couple things hidden behind some bushes. Nelson took her closer and showed her. It was a collection of antiques, jewelry, perfumes, glass boxes, and shells. Nelson had Diana open all the big and small boxes, and inside a big wood box, there was a gold heart which had a ring inside. Nelson got on one knee and asked Diana to marry him. Then both their families jumped out from hiding behind other bushes around. Nelson had brought both of their families out to Florida to celebrate the engagement with them. Up to this day, we still don't remember if Nelson asked Diana to marry in English or Spanish. We cant wait for the years to come and to build a lovely happy life together.

We met during engineering school. Nelson hated doing homework, but Diana would make him do his homework and even attend extra credit events.
