It seems like Matt and Diana had always known each other. Growing up in Marietta, GA, they shared mutual friends and even attended the same high school. Yet, it wasn’t until college, while attending different universities, that they really connected. Their bond began during a memorable birthday trip to New Orleans with mutual friends, where the vibrant cityscape, jazz music, and shared experiences brought them closer together. Diana was drawn to Matt's adventurous spirit, and Matt was enchanted by Diana's warmth and humor. This trip marked the start of a meaningful connection between them. After their New Orleans adventure, Matt and Diana returned to their respective colleges. Although their paths temporarily diverged, they stayed in touch and cherished their memories of that special trip. Their reconnection happened when they both returned to their hometown after graduating college. Spending more time together, they rekindled their friendship and deepened their relationship through bike rides, brewery visits, and days spent at Lake Nottley in the North Georgia mountains.

Fast forward six years, Matt and Diana have built a life full of adventure and love together. They live near Atlanta where they’ve continued to grow both individually and as a couple. Over the years, they've navigated life's ups and downs, supporting each other through career changes, personal growth, and all the challenges that come with entering adulthood. Last spring, Diana and Matt found themselves in a final semester once again, this time of Diana's master’s degree, and Matt knew he wanted to propose soon. He planned the perfect trip to Key West, Florida during her spring break in March 2024. The trip was full of adventure: snorkeling, boat rides, and asking the love of his life to marry him. Matt proposed on the beach during one of Key West’s picturesque sunsets, officially marking the beginning of their next chapter together.
