Kasia and Riley met on the first day of track practice Riley’s freshman year at Alan B. Shepard. They quickly became pole-vaulting besties and stayed together through college at North Central. Over the years, they have enjoyed working out together, getting coffee, and having long late-night talks. Kasia is the life of the party!
Maid of Honor
Being Kasia’s younger sister, Madzia and Riley quickly met and bonded soon after that first day of track practice. As a trio, the three girls could be doing nothing but sitting around and still have a great time. Riley and Madzia enjoy driving around, going to get coffee, and even getting their ears pierced. Madzia is a hardworking runner and student physical therapist on her way to becoming Dr. Myrda.

Delaney has the honor of being Riley’s only older sister. Delaney and Riley love watching movies and shows from their childhood together to remember their peaceful life before their 48 other sisters were born. Delaney is kind, creative, caring, and funny. She enjoys cooking and dance.

Quinn is Riley’s first younger sister. She uses all her energy to light up any room she walks into which, unfortunately, requires a lot of resting in her free time. The two girls love making their parents take them to get coffee or go shopping.

June, Riley’s second younger sister, is a sophomore at Knox College. She has a wealth of talent including playing the flute, piano, and guitar. She also loves books, writing, art, and learning about history. Riley and June both enjoy reading.

Riley is so great that her parents decided to clone her in 2012. Flannery is the youngest Lyons girl and a star soccer player. Although they are 10 years apart, the girls bond over many things including their love for cats. They enjoy going on hikes and playing Roblox together.

Bo is Riley’s newest sister (in-law). She is an amazing long-jumper and an even better friend. Riley and Bo got along quickly after they met. They enjoy going on walks together and doing extreme aerial yoga.
Best Man
Matthew "Shim" Shimenetto and Thomas met in 2004 when Thomas moved to Glenn Ct. Living across the street from one another, Matt and Thomas played together nearly every day, inventing new sports and games constantly. Their paths would intersect again in high school on the cross country team where they rekindled their childhood friendship. Matt continued to run in college at North Central, and would ultimately be the reason Thomas and Riley met. Matt enjoys running, biking, reading, and a new-found love of international travel.

James is Thomas's oldest brother. Many of the hobbies and activities that Thomas took up as a kid were inspired by James, including running. Thomas's first memory of James comes from roughly 2003 and ever since, he has remained a role model. James enjoys running, reading, learning, and spending time with friends. He is the embodiment of the work hard play hard mentality.

Jack is the middle Diamond brother. For most of their childhood, Thomas was the annoying younger sibling, until about 2017 when Jack says Thomas "grew a personality". Thomas followed Jack to UW-Parkside where Jack was his coach and friend. They bond over disc golf, regular golf, and being stupid together.

Clark and Thomas met the summer before freshman year during summer running. At the time, Clark's hair had frosted tips he swore were natural, and he was always mad. They became friends through cross country and PE first semester. In Clark's free time he enjoys running, being blue collar, and buying Oreos and a Purple Fanta from the Shell at Woodridge Dr and Hobson.

Niall and Thomas met the summer of Thomas's sophomore year. Being Clark's childhood best friend, Niall and Thomas made a connection quickly. Niall, Shim, Clark, and Thomas all worked at Jimmy John's together, Niall having the longest tenure. There, he "managed" Thomas while he drove delivery, and they returned maximal shareholder value together. Niall is known for being a hustle beast, having a laugh that doesn't stop, and his love of River Monsters and Lebron.
Groomsman
Ellery and Thomas met in 2020 on the cross country team at UW-Parkside during their freshman year. They lived in the same apartment the following year and grew very close. Thomas and Ellery would watch shows and football together weekly, filling commercial breaks and downtime by playing ball inside and impersonating/summoning strength from their favorite athletes. The two worked the same job on campus, so their schedules overlapped closely. Ellery is a great friend who is strongly committed to his goals. He now serves in the US Air Force.

Zach and Thomas became friends when Thomas joined the Parkside team in 2020, where their time overlapped for a semester. Zach exudes cool with his music taste, style, and vibe. Zach and Thomas are on an ultimate frisbee team together in Milwaukee. Zach is a high school chemistry teacher and cross country/track coach.
Officiant
Jim has been a friend of the Lyons family for many decades. He was college roommates with Riley's dad at Purdue University where they both studied very hard. The families love taking trips together. Their favorite adventure so far is horseback riding in New Mexico in 2017.
