We’re getting married

We were introduced through a mutual friend in July 2013 at 18 years old on FaceTime. Donavan kept asking our mutual friend to “put him down.” Somehow Donavan and Diamond connected on social media in 2014. A few months later, Donavan and Diamond met to watch a movie in their hometown. Diamond was a sophomore in college at the time, and Donavan was an Airman in the Air Force. From that day forward, Donavan did not stop until he made Diamond his girlfriend. Donavan would travel every weekend from Lackland Air Force Base to Houston, Texas, and surprise Diamond at her job. He was so persistent. Fast Forward six years later, Diamond and Donavan have a six-year-old daughter. We thank God for letting us grow together and understand each other to get where we are now.
