Sam and Brandon met in August of 2021 while Sam was in her Senior year of college and Brandon was still working in EMS. They met online and first bonded over similar tastes in music. Little did they know they would go on to attend many shows together and begin introducing each other to different artists that they thought the other would enjoy. Skeleton Key by Origami Angel quickly became their go to song, even getting to see it performed live in June of 2025. Skeleton Key is about having an overwhelming love for someone who is unique and special to you. Brandon went on to propose October 10th, 2025 with Sam's dream engagement ring and a special engraving of "Skeleton Key" inside the band.
