We Are Getting Married!

The first time we met felt like it was written in a book—a perfect beginning in the heart of our church. I walked through the front doors, and there he was, Jackson, sitting next to his dad. As he loves to tell it, he leaned over and asked his dad who I was. His dad looked over and told him my name, adding, “Mayra’s daughter.” Curiosity must have sparked something, because the next thing I knew, Jackson had found my mom on Facebook, which eventually led him to me. He than added me, messaged me, and from that moment, our story truly began. What started with simple texts blossomed into something neither of us could have imagined.
