Til Death Do Us Part

Ivan and Katie were both cast members at Disneyland, but worked in completely different departments - Ivan in attractions and Katie in quick service foods. Every year, the company puts together a charity event called Flashback where cast members are able to participate in creating a theatrical performance and raise money by selling tickets to their friends and family. Both Ivan and Katie decided to take part in Flashback 2014, although their departments separated them into different teams. One night, their teams were set up to practice together. Katie noticed Ivan almost instantly because he was wearing a t-shirt with her favorite band on it - A Day to Remember. She struck up a conversation by complimenting him on his shirt and that is how they became friends. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that their friendship blossomed and they fell in love. Shortly after their one year anniversary, Ivan asked Katie to be his wife on September 12th, 2019 at the base of Snoqualmie Falls in Washington.
