Please try to arrive no later than 11:00. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 am sharp! At around 12:30, we will board the train and prepare for departure.
You can park at the main parking lot for free at 64 South Washington St. Note that there will be a train returning to the station at 11am so parking before 11 might be limited. If the main lot is full, there are other available parking options nearby. There is also a Borough parking lot located at 20 E Philadelphia Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512, which is a short walk to the railyard.
The bride and groom are going for an 1800s Victorian and Wild West theme, and guests are encouraged to participate when selecting their outfits! However, your comfort is most important so please wear anything you are most comfortable in.
Currently the ADA-accessible car is under restoration, and the train is temporarily unavailable to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. If this changes before the wedding we will update this answer. Please make sure that when you make your reservation to note if someone in your party will need assistance in boarding.
Please refrain from taking photographs during the ceremony, as there will be a professional photographer to capture those moments. After the ceremony and during the train ride there will be ample opportunity for photographs with the bride and groom, friends, and the train.
Most of the cars do have air conditioning with the exception of the Coach Car, the Diplomat and the Beaver. Staff will make every effort to make sure the cars are as cool as possible. During cold weather, Wood Pellet Stoves can heat the train. Regardless of the weather, please make sure to dress appropriately in case of an emergency.
The train moves at a relatively slow pace and is a wonderful experience for kids of all ages. Nonetheless, all children should be carefully supervised, especially when transiting between cars or enjoying the open-air car at the back of the train.
We have reserved the entire train for the wedding.
