Some love stories find each other across the world. Diaa had made his way from Egypt, building a new life in Chattanooga. Caroline had grown up on Signal Mountain — and after finishing college, she came back home, back to the Tennessee mountains she loved. In January 2024, two lives that had traveled very different roads crossed in the most ordinary of places: a Whole Foods grocery store. Against all odds, a chance encounter turned into conversation, and conversation turned into something neither of them expected.
