Our wedding is a beautiful blend of Latin American and Indian traditions, symbolizing the union of our hearts and cultures. Evelyn hails from the vibrant lands of Guatemala, where the rich culture and warmth of Latin America have shaped her into the wonderful person she is. Dhruvir comes from the colorful and diverse country of India, bringing with him the heritage and traditions that make his culture so unique. Born and raised in Ahmedabad, in Gujarat, India, my journey from this culturally rich region has shaped who I am today. Ahmedabad: City of Historical Significance Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, blends history with modernity. Founded in 1411, it has been a trade and commerce hub. The city's stunning architecture includes Sabarmati Ashram, the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Ahmedabad's rich history earned it a UNESCO World Heritage City status. It's known for its arts scene, bustling markets, and delicious street food Gujarat: Land of Diversity Gujarat epitomizes diversity. From our heritage to our cuisine, beliefs, and way of living, the diversity is vast. Gujarati culture is renowned for its warmth and hospitality. The state is home to various communities, each with unique traditions, languages, and festivals, showcasing Indian diversity. A Culinary Delight Gujarati cuisine is known for its distinctive sweetness. Gujaratis love sweet flavors in traditional dishes. Our culinary heritage blends flavors and spices, offering a unique taste experience. Dishes like Dhokla, Thepla, and Fafda are popular in Gujarat and beyond. Celebrating Through Dance: Garba Garba, a popular folk dance of Gujarat, holds a special place in our hearts. This energetic dance, performed during festivals like Navratri, symbolizes our cultural identity. The rhythmic beats and graceful movements of Garba bring communities together in joyous celebration, making it a cherished tradition.

Hello! I'm Evelyn, a doctor from Gualan, Zacapa, in eastern Guatemala. This region is known for its picturesque farms, cattle, rich vegetation, and the Sierra de las Minas mountains. Gualan, Zacapa: My Hometown Gualan is a charming town with fertile land producing coffee, grapes, and vegetables. The region is famous for rum production. The lush landscapes and vibrant greenery make Gualan a serene place. Guatemala: A Colorful Country Guatemala is vibrant, with nature and diverse populations. We have 21 Mayan languages and Spanish due to our history with Spain. Semana Santa is a major event, with parades and handmade colorful rugs of sawdust and flowers. Guatemalan Cuisine Our cuisine is diverse, with stews, cheeses, and vegetables. Guatemalan food blends flavors using fresh produce from our abundant agriculture. From savory dishes to sweet treats, our culinary heritage is unique and memorable. Natural Wonders Guatemala boasts turquoise lakes, lush greenery, and breathtaking landscapes. Lake Atitlan, Antigua Guatemala, and the Mayan temples of Tikal and Yaxha are natural gems. With 37 volcanoes, some active, Guatemala offers spectacular light shows. Embracing Diversity As a doctor, I respect the diverse beliefs and cultures in our world. This has deepened my connection to my heritage and enriched my life.
