We're getting married!

Sheena was born & raised in LA, but found a new home in Las Vegas, making memories with some amazing friends. After being born & raised in NJ, Dheeraj finally decided it was time for a radical change, and moved across the country in April of 2022, to Culver City. We met on Dil Mil, an Indian dating app. Dheeraj rates the app 5 stars, while Sheena loathed the app and deleted it the following day. Nonetheless, an opportunity of a lifetime was created through this channel. After our initial discussions of the NBA (Lakers>Spurs), we decided to move our new friendship to a far less scary app, Instagram. After aligning on a first date (scheduled for several months later in June), our texting had fallen off. Sheena was living her best life in Vegas, skeptical if the planned first date would even happen, Dheeraj was visiting his family in NJ, processing a recent layoff. We finally met in person weeks later, for a first date in Culver City, LA. What began as a phone call that lasted the duration of the drive from Vegas to LA, ended with ice cream on the culver steps, and started a long-distance relationship that was well worth the wait.
