Our story is definitely unconventional and not what either of us had expected. We met online like thousands of other couples, on Coffee meets Bagel; such a silly name huh! The funny thing is Ankur is such a coffee guy, and I've always loved my bagels, so meeting on Coffee meets Bagel must have been fate. Our first date was a Bollywood night starting with some delicious classic Indian street food and a very serious Bollywood movie, looking back on it now, it probably was not the best movie to watch on our first date, but it turned out to be the best night! From that day on, every date, vacation and every moment spent together was just so easy and effortless. Somehow one date turned into 589 days of laughter and fun, until Ankur finally popped the question! This journey that we have been on so far has been nothing short of an adventure. Our happily ever after has another huge twist, this past year's infamous pandemic. As so many other couples in the last year, we had to post pone our Big Fat Indian Wedding, but we were so lucky to be able to get married in a very small, intimate ceremony in September 2020. From that day on, we have had so many big changes from buying our first home together to getting our fur-baby, Leo; and now we can't wait to celebrate with all our loved ones, the way we have always dreamed we would!
