Wedding festivities begin on May 28 with the welcome party, May 29 with the rehearsal dinner, and May 30 for the big day! We suggest arriving a few days early to settle in, enjoy the island, and take part in excursions before the week’s events begin.
Yes! We have a reserved room block at Seda Lio Resort, where our wedding celebration will take place. Feel free to reach out to her with any hotel or travel questions. You’re also welcome to book other hotels within the Lio Estate or in downtown El Nido (about 8–10 minutes away). Guests may book directly through the hotel’s website, Agoda, or Booking.com. A list of our recommended resorts and boutique hotels can be found under the Travel & Stay tab.
Yes! We have a few special celebrations planned before the wedding. Visit The Details tab for more information.
Most guests will first fly into Manila (MNL). From there, you have two main options to reach El Nido: Option 1: Fly Directly to El Nido Airport (Lio Airport – ENI) This is the fastest and most convenient route. From Manila, take a direct flight to Lio Airport (ENI) in El Nido. The flight is about 1 hour. Lio Airport is part of the Lio Estate, just 5-10 minutes from Seda Lio Resort. We recommend booking through Airswift (the main airline servicing Lio Airport) or checking with our travel agent, Cassandra, for availability. Option 2: Fly to Puerto Princesa (PPS) + van transfer to El Nido A great option if flights to Lio are full or if you prefer more flexible scheduling. Fly from Manila to Puerto Princesa (PPS). Travel from Puerto Princesa to El Nido by air-conditioned van (approx. 4–6 hours). Vans can be booked in advance or arranged at the airport. This route takes longer but is often more affordable and has more flight options.
Each event’s RSVP will include a section for dietary needs. If you or anyone in your party has food allergies or dietary restrictions, you can enter them directly when submitting your RSVP so we can coordinate with the venues accordingly.
For our international travelers, we recommend flying with reputable Asian and Middle Eastern airlines for the most comfortable long-haul experience. Popular options include EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Korean Air, Japan Airlines, Emirates, and Qatar Airways. Travelers flying into the Philippines will land at Manila International Airport (MNL). From Manila, it is another 40–60 minute flight to El Nido, Palawan. Guests are more than welcome to stay at the excellent hotels located directly across from the Manila airport to rest and recharge before continuing on to Palawan.
Absolutely! Guests who are invited with a plus one will see that reflected in their guest information. When submitting your RSVP, please enter your plus one’s full name if it is not already listed, so we can ensure accurate seating and headcount. If you have any questions about plus ones, please feel free to contact Danica directly.
We love your little ones and understand that traveling for a destination wedding can make childcare tricky. While our celebration is primarily planned for adults, we are happy to make exceptions for children in the wedding party or children of adults participating in the bridal party. If you’re hoping to bring your child(ren), please feel free to reach out to Danica so we can help accommodate you as best as we can.
