FAQs

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony at 11:00 am to allow ample time for seating. Doors will close promptly at 10:45 am to ensure the ceremony and other event proceedings continue in a timely fashion.

Question

Does the invite to the ceremony guarantee a spot for me at the reception?

Answer

No, it does not. Due to limited space, the reception is by invitation only. Invited guests will receive a separate RSVP for the reception.

Question

Where is the reception

Answer

After the ceremony in the University Memorial Chapel, those who were invited will make their way to the University Center Ballroom and check in if they have RSVP'd prior.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Please dress accordingly. We kindly ask that all guests refrain from wearing white. Please understand that doing so will result in you being asked to leave.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Where is parking?

Answer

There is free street parking available on Hillen Road, alongside the chapel, or you may park in the university garage for a small fee of $5, which we recommend for those invited to the reception.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

NO! While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will be a dry event. We’re looking forward to an evening filled with love, great music, and unforgettable moments. For guests who’d like to keep the celebration going, we’ll be sharing details about an optional after-party at a nearby city spot.
