After both transferring to Appalachian State in 2014, we first met when we shared a table in an Ecology lab class. Since we were both biology majors, we had several classes together and saw each other often. From group projects and late nights studying in the library, to going to concerts and hiking together on the parkway we formed a friendship during the first year we knew each other. Little did we know that those small moments were the beginnings of a deep and joyous love.
