WHATS FOR DINNER?

Answer

TACOS! We have a taco truck hired to cater the wedding. There is not a set dinner time and there is no assigned seating. The food truck will be on site for several hours and you can eat whatever time you like!

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Booked a babysitter and let loose!

DO WE HAVE TO STAY AT THE HITLON GARDEN INN?

Answer

Absolutely not. That was just the only hotel that would guarantee us 20 dedicated rooms. We tried to secure a cheaper block elsewhere but a lot of places were already short on bookings or required a 2 night minimum for a wedding block. Stay wherever you like but know that we have rooms at the Hilton until September 10th if you wish.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Unfortunately, very few hotels in Ames offer shuttles because we're not close to the airport. However, Ames does have plenty of Lyft and Uber drivers.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
