Is this a "wedding"?

Answer

No, while we are getting legally married to provide convenience and protection for our family, we are not calling this a wedding. This "celebration" is honoring our commitment to each other as co-parents and chosen family. Unfortunately, Zola refuses to call it anything but a wedding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Smart casual would be perfect. All events will be inside but it is likely to be very cold in Ohio this time of year so dress in layers. Examples: Nice jeans or casual slacks with a blouse, button down shirt, or sweater; a casual dress with leggings.

Is it family friendly?

Answer

Yes! Everyone is welcome to celebrate with us. We are exploring ideas for how to entertain children after brunch.

Should I buy y'all a celebration present and a baby gift?

Answer

Please, no! Over the 8 years of living together we have built a cozy household together. If you would like to give a gift, we would love items that help us prepare for parenthood.

Do you know the baby's sex or name?

Answer

At our 20 week ultrasound we got a surprise and found out that we are having a little boy. However we will not be sharing the names we are considering.
