Our story began in the summer of 2022 when Rose took a trip to Dallas. Devyn had just moved there and saw she was in town, so he DM’d her to meet at her Airbnb pool. What started as a casual hang quickly became unforgettable. Before going out that night, we went upstairs to change and somehow ended up with him asking to be tased, to which Rose obliged. It was unexpected, hilarious, and set the tone for a connection rooted in laughter, ease, and trust. After Rose moved to Dallas, our friendship grew, even as life pulled us in different directions and we explored other relationships. Devyn introduced Rose to many people in the city, helping her feel at home in a new place. In 2023, timing finally aligned. We were both single and started spending more time together, doing yoga in the park and hanging out with friends. A trip to Houston for Rose’s birthday turned friendship into something more. Everything just sparked, pun intended. By the end of 2023, we moved in together and everything changed again. Whether we are traveling the world, attending timeshare events, or simply spending a quiet evening at home, anything we do together is fun and full of laughter. Our relationship has been built on friendship, trust, humor, and choosing each other every day. In July of 2025, during a family trip to Jamaica, Devyn planned a dream proposal on the beach, surrounding Rose with a heart of roses in the sand. With the ocean in front of us and our family nearby, it was everything Rose had ever envisioned, and saying yes was effortless. When it came to planning our wedding, we had originally planned on eloping. Being the turn up king and queen, Las Vegas felt like the perfect place to celebrate! It’s intimate, vibrant, and full of energy, just like us. Then, we found a venue that had an ideal setting to share every part of our love with the people we care about most. We chose our date with intention, August 26, 2026. The numbers align in a powerful way, 8/2+6=8/2+6=8, creating a sense of infinity, abundance, and balance. The day also falls under triple Virgo energy, a rare and meaningful alignment that embodies devotion, care, and thoughtful intention. The date honors Devyn’s strength and purpose while marking a new chapter for us as a couple, balancing his grounded energy with Rose’s intuition.
