We met on my first day at TSU at an Honors College event. Russell came up to my family and introduced himself, smiles and all. As soon as he started talking, I knew there was something special about him. And to find out, we were both living in Huntsville at the time, which sounds a lot like fate to me. It didn't take long for him to become one of my best and most genuine friends at TSU. As time went on, we grew to want more than a friendship. If you've known our story from the very beginning, then you know timing wasn't on our side at all. But all it took was faith in God's perfect timing and everything fell right into place. -The Bride The first day I met Devyn was in Fall 2019 during an ice cream social event we held for incoming Honors College students. I was a sophomore and she was an upcoming freshman. At first glance, I was marveled by her smile and knew there was something special about her. She was with her family but that didn't stop me from introducing myself to hopefully make a lasting first impression. From the start, we became really good friends and spent hours having parked car conversations. Establishing a strong foundation allowed our relationship to withstand the test of time with a little help from God. Fast forward to now, its a blessing for us to be engaged and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my true love. -The Groom
