Our Story

Our story started at the Kennesaw State University Library early fall of 2018; it was then we decided to give this relationship a shot a few months after being friends. From traveling to Savannah, Tennesee, New York, & Colombia, we knew we wanted to explore the world together. We each prayed for someone to push us to be better, not only physically & mentally, but spiritually. 3 years later Devyn proposed at our favorite getaway place, Chatanooga, Tennesee. This place is very special to us, it was our first road trip together, which became an every-semester getaway trip. From running half/marathons to vegan food festivals, and now, our engagement. It was perfect. Neither of us could imagine spending the rest of our lives with anyone else. We are each other's person and are excited to open this new door into the journey God has prepared us for. We met in the fall 2018 at the KSU library through a mutual friend. We shared a bond through fitness and worked out together. This was one of our first pictures together at one of our gym sessions. 💗

After hearing our stories and testimonies, we decided to continue to pursue each other. Devyn met Manuela’s family on thanksgiving in 2018 for the first time.
