We met playing adult kickball! I, (Sarah) was the team captain at the time, DeVonte was the new recruit-- he brought chips and salsa, and with his becoming personality, he was an instant member of our team! Over the following months, unbeknownst to me, DeVonte was interested. But he thought I wasn't... and I did not want to admit that I was. Finally, DeVonte took a chance. And that was it, we've been together ever since!
