The Wedding Website of Devon Novotnak and Roque Rodriguez
Our wedding isn't just a celebration, it's an opportunity to share an entire country and culture! Prior to the wedding, the bride and groom will spend time in Santiago de Compostela before traveling to the city of the celebration in Monforte de Lemos. Please find key hotel and travel information below.

Hotel

Parador de Monforte de Lemos

Our ceremony and reception will be held here at the Parador. Set at the top of the hill of the town of Monforte, the Parador is part of a country-wide project in which Spain has transformed historic buildings into luxury hotels. A bit on the history: "The historic site of San Vicente do Pino is located in the uppermost part of the town of Monforte de Lemos. It is made up of the keep, San Vicente do Pino Monasteryand the palace of the counts of Lemos, which houses the Parador de Monforte. The monastery dates back to the 9th century, although the current structure was built in the 17th century in the neoclassical style. The building has a neoclassical central cloister with exceptionally well carved stonework." A hotel block is being coordinated by the Bride and Groom.

Hotel

Hotel Eurostars Araguaney

The American contingency will be visiting the city of Santiago de Compostela prior to the festivities and staying in this hotel. It is close to the Old City (where you get the amazing tapas!) and features a pool.

Flight

United States to Spain Travel

Monforte de Lemos is in the central area of Galicia, the Northwest corner of Spain. Santiago de Compostela is a city nearby to Monforte that part of the wedding travelers will be visiting prior. Suggestions for how to reach: - Flight to Madrid with a train to Santiago de Compostela or Monforte - Flight to Madrid that connects to Santiago or A Coruña - Direct flight to Santiago de Compostela. United is opening a new route in June that runs a few times a week.
