We're Getting Married!

We met at a rooftop party and, honestly, didn't think much of it at first. But as the night went on, and everyone else headed downstairs, we stayed behind to catch the sunset – and that's where our story really began. We kept finding excuses to hang out amongst friends, and eventually decided we should try hanging out just the two of us. We ended up at The Garrett, this cool speakeasy in the West Village, sharing cocktails and discovered that the feelings were definitely mutual. And now, here we are seven years later, still together every step of the way.

In December 2021, we visited Art Basel Miami to celebrate the holiday season. A good friend invited us to an All White Yacht Party. It was a small group of us vibing, laughing, and enjoying the Miami breeze. As the sun began to set, our friend had a brilliant idea to recreate the famous Titanic scene, a movie we hadn't seen in over a decade. You can imagine how ridiculous we looked, attempting the iconic move at the bow of the boat. I had no idea what was about to come next. After a few minutes, it felt like Mario might as well have dropped me overboard, as he provided absolutely no support for my weight! When I turned around to see what the hold-up was, he was down on one knee. I screamed, "Oh my God," a few times and then said, "I DO," and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Brooklyn!
