What is a cocktail reception?
Answer
In order to get to spend more time with our friends and family instead of stuck behind a table, we have decided to do a cocktail reception outside in the garden! Think hors d'oeuvres, chef stations, and lots of finger foods! There will be lots of seating available, but no formal seating chart, so please feel free to mingle and make new friends! Our reception will begin at 6:00 pm in the garden (weather permitting). Don't worry, we have a great backup in case it rains.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We will begin the ceremony at 3 pm sharp! Please give yourself time to arrive and get comfortable.

Will there be an after-party?
Answer
Yes! We can't wait to celebrate with you all night long! Once noise restrictions mean that we need to go inside, we will head downstairs to the "pub" and continue the party. Please note, we do need to wrap things up by midnight due to venue limitations and Marcia's beauty sleep requirements.

What is the plan for the day?

3:00 pm - Ceremony 3:30 pm - Family and bridal party photos. Guests are welcome to depart or stay and enjoy lawn games. 6:00 pm - Reception 6:30 pm - Dinner 7:30 pm - Cake Cutting 8:00 pm - First Dance and Cake Cutting 8:30 pm - Dancing 10:00 pm - After party

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We want you to be comfortable at our wedding, and we will be outside! The dress code is dressy casual attire. Women: sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the ceremony and reception on the lawn. Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional."

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! Please bring your kids! There will be lawn games, and lots of space to run around outside.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is street parking available, but no designated parking lot. There are three handicap parking spaces available at the front door for those that require it.

Should I wear sunscreen and bug spray?
Answer
Yes! The majority of our time will (hopefully) be outside!
