a quiet girl who loved to laugh and a rambunctious boy who loved to make people laugh crossed paths. They instantly had a connection, as if they had known each other for far longer then they had. It wasn't long after meeting that they would be stealing glances from across the room, he secretly giving her free junior frosties from Wendy's, and staying up late talking about everything for hours. One might ask, could a bacon- loving gamer match with a yoga loving pescatarian? The answer is yes! Alas, a few awkwardly wholesome dates later, they became best friends, boyfriend // girlfriend, high school sweethearts and soon to be husband and wife. And so, many memories and miles later, they have decided with much excitement, to embark on the next chapter of their journey together ... marriage!

Our first anniversary together was one out of a movie. Devon, the secret romantic that he is, planned the most wonderful day trip to Minnehaha Falls. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a breathtakingly beautiful park in Minneapolis. The waterfall there is unlike many other places in Minnesota. Sunny day, beautiful waterfall, a packed picnic ... need I say more? Ever since then, we have made it a goal to keep coming back to the area almost every year. So, it was not out of the ordinary for us to go here when Devon had taken some leave to come back home. I don't think either of us could picture a better place for us to decide to spend our lives together. It was at the place that started it all, where the melting snow met the waterfall. We are both so incredibly filled with joy for all of you to be joining us for this special time in our lives. We hope to see you in June ♡
