We can’t wait to celebrate!

The ever after part of our story began on the western slope of Colorado in Palisade; where the peaches grow ripe and the wine flows like water. I thought that Lou was taking me on a romantic getaway. I was about to turn 30 and was excited to escape Denver and enjoy some wine and the outdoors with Lou. Little did I know, he had a couple of surprises waiting for me. A few of my closest friends surprised me at our rental house after they all claimed to be doing other things that weekend. After a fun day of winery hopping, I thought the party was wrapping up. We got home and were unwinding on the patio under the Colorado stars when Lou proposed a toast. He said he had one more surprise... He asked if I would marry him. I was so stunned and it took me a minute to realize what was happening, but I eventually said, “yes!!” We will never forget that special weekend surrounded by good company.
