We met 3.5 years ago when Lindsey joined Burn Bootcamp in Sandy Springs. Devon was the head trainer there and Lindsey was just starting out in anything other than running and obscene amounts of cardio. Devon inspired her and she was immediately attracted to this silly dancing man. After many workouts (and Devon absolutely destroying me in every one) we started a friendship that eventually grew into more. We started dating and continued to get to know each other, we dated for a while and then parted ways. during our time apart, Lindsey moved to Tenessee to open a Burn in Nashiville, and Devon remained in Georgia to open and run Burn Cumming. After months of not talking, we finally reconnected with intentions of rekindling a friendship alone. We spent a week talking nonstop and realized that we both wanted to try this thing again. We started dating again (long distance) right before the world shut down. It was like no time had passed and we were never apart. We stuck together through long distance, the world shutting down, and navigating how our careers would change and flow through that time. We supported each other the whole way and loved every minute of our time in quarantine Fast forward a bit and we found out we were expecting our beautiful baby girl. We always knew we would be together, Ryleigh just sped things up a bit. The best thing to ever happen to us and our greatest joy. Devon proposed at our baby shower and completely surprised Lindsey in front of some of our closest friends and family. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone and become husband and wife and do this thing called life together.
