Devon and Joey's love story began as a match on Match. After a week of great conversation, they were both eager to meet. Their first date took place on February 13, 2019, at Carrabba's. They talked for hours and laughed as if they had known each other forever. From that first meeting, many fantastic dates followed, and their relationship took off! Fast forward seven years, and Joey had a plan to propose. On June 28, 2025, Joey planned a dinner with friends. He then suggested that before they leave for dinner, Devon's friend take a picture of the two of them. When Devon went to stand next to Joey for the picture, Joey got down on one knee! He can’t remember exactly what he said, but Devon said the only thing that mattered: “Yes!" and "Thank you!" The past seven years together have been the best of their lives — from getting engaged, going to IndyCar races, and enjoying quiet nights in, to moving to a new state, and, of course, becoming parents to their cat, Salem. Devon and Joey could not be more excited for this next chapter of their lives and they are so grateful to celebrate with you all!
