While our wedding will be a child inclusive event, there are some things we want our guests to be aware of. The venue is on three acres with access to a creek, pond, and road. We ask that you please take this into consideration when you are planning your trip.
Garden Party Attire- light breathable fabrics, sundresses, floral prints, or elegant jumpsuits for women, and button-down shirts with chinos or slacks for men. We respectfully ask that the color white be designated for the bride only. You will need to walk through grass to get to the ceremony location so please plan your footwear accordingly.
If it was not specified on the envelope of your invitation, please speak to the bride and groom.
Many of you are traveling a great distance to celebrate with us in Oregon, so your witness to our special day is gift enough! We bought our home together in 2020 and have all we feel we need to start our life as a married couple. In lieu of gifts, we ask that you please consider donating to your local dog rescue or Special Olympics Eugene/Springfield local program (where Devon and Hannah coach). If you’d still like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we would be forever grateful. We adopted our beloved Maggie Mae from Luvable Dog Rescue in 2019. Please consider making a donation in her honor. https://www.luvabledogrescue.org Hannah adopted our boy Indigo from SafeHaven Humane Society in 2015. Please consider making a donation in his honor. https://form-renderer-app.donorperfect.io/give/safehaven-humane-society/donate-to-safehaven-humane-society Devon has volunteered with the Eugene/Springfield Special Olympics Program for over 10 years. He has been a coach for soccer, basketball and softball. Since meeting Devon in 2018, Hannah has joined him in coaching for softball and basketball. Though she likes to call herself the “equipment manager” due to her lack of sports knowledge. If you would like to donate to the Eugene/Springfield Special Olympics Program, please send checks to the address below. ESSO PO Box 35 Springfield OR, 97477 You may also bring a check to the wedding to place in the cards box.
