Can love stories start before you’re born? Gil’s father went to K-12 with the mother of Devon’s childhood best friend. Devon’s grandfather was best friends with a man who’s future grandson would play summer baseball in Jersey with Gil. These are only a few of the coincidences we’ve had and we cant wait to share more on the big day! HOW WE MET On November 1, 2014 we both went to a personal development workshop in Phoenix and unbeknownst to us, shook hands with our future husband/wife for the first time. It was during intermission that Mike Remlinger introduced the two of us. We had a brief chat, the seminar reconvened, and we didn’t hear or speak to each other until two years later when our paths crossed again. November 22, 2016, Mike Remlinger was renting an apartment in the same complex as Devon. Mike was giving Gil a lift to the airport. The apartment being 15 minutes away made it an easy option for a friend to park his car while he traveled back to Sussex, NJ. When Devon caught a glimpse of this friend of Mike’s, she had to inquire as to who he was. That same night, with a little encouragement from Mike, Gil sent a Facebook request and some new age flirting began with a few profile picture likes! A week later on the 29th, Mike was supposed to pick Gil up from the airport but his wife’s car broke down so Gil needed a ride. Devon was happy to help. That was it, we set fire right then and there. We have some pretty incredible memories and stops along our journey together but it's history from there! We got engaged November 16th, 2019 and we cant wait to celebrate with you all!
