WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!

We met originally through my roommate my Junior year of college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ryan was friends with my roommates so we would cross paths that way. However, where our story really began is the following year after I (Devon) came back from England. Ryan and I would talk when we would see each other out and about. Ryan was always so sweet and I was not always nice to him when he would try to hit on me at the bar. Luckily for me, that never bothered Ryan. We both thought the other was attractive but it took us a while to finally go on a date. For our first date, we went to the movies with a group of friends and after that we spent lots of time together. He officially asked me out when we were heading to Florida for a week for spring break. After that week, we knew we were meant for each other. The rest is history.

Ryan took me to the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville Alabama. He said we were doing a family photoshoot with his immediate family. So when Ryan told me to dress up for the pictures, I didn't think anything of it. So after work, I drove to meet him and his family at Botanical Gardens. Exhausted and complaining to him about walking, the way I do, he led me to our spot. He blind folded me so I didn't know what was going on. You'd think this would have given me some kind of hint but I had no idea. He led me to the most beautiful part of the garden. Water all around us and such beautiful flowers. He had us standing in a heart made out of pink rose pedals. Then, he had me stop walking and he got down on his knee and had me take the blind fold off. He said "Will you marry me" and I said "Are you serious". He was like well obviously I'm down here aren't I. And of course I said YES!! I would have been an idiot not to say yes to such an amazing man. We are so lucky we're going to spend the rest of our lives together!
