The venue does have limited parking. Thankfully, with the wedding being on a Sunday, parking is available across the street at the church, along the street, and along the Independence Square. We do recommend carpooling to maximize the parking available and to reduce the amount you have to walk to get to the venue.
While this is not a formal event, we do ask our guests to dress appropriate for the weather but to also dress up. You are more than welcome to wear the theme colors but are not required to. We will also preface by saying that the weather can be unpredictable and the venue does not supply air conditioning. The facility has garage doors that will be opened (if weather permits) to allow airflow for those of you getting jiggy with it.
While the bar is informal ( no actual bartenders) alcohol is being served for only a limited time. With the venue being owned by the city, officers are required to attend to maintain safety. Therefore, alcohol will be a variety of canned drinks served from 2-5pm. Where drinks such as tea, coffee, water, and lemonade will be served throughout the event.
This is just a fancy way to say appetizers! Appetizers will be served throughout the entirety of the event and if you find something you like, you’re more than welcome to take some home for leftovers!
