In Israel, guests typically give a cash donation at the wedding itself, instead of gifts or a registry. I know- maybe if you're coming from abroad- this is AWKWARD. However, this helps us pay for the wedding. If you have questions about amounts- please be in touch with us <3
Tel Aviv is a true paradox in terms of safety. In regard to theft, harrassment, petty crime- there is close to none. Most people feel safer walking the streets of Tel Aviv than many other Western spaces. However, there has been an ongoing war, which can make things feel scary-- and we're not here to gaslight you-- they can be. Right now, there is a ceasefire, meaning there is low risk for large scale danger but the situation is dynamic. All of that being said, we believe Tel Aviv and Israel-Palestine is safe for a visit! We are here to chat about any and all safety concerns you may have.
Yes! As of January 1, 2025, you need to apply for an ETA. You can do so here: https://israel-entry.piba.gov.il/eligibilityNational/
Besides yourself, bring comfortable and casual clothes. Weddings and dress in Israel tend to be much more casual in terms of attire. The weather should be comfortable around 70-75 degrees but check weather reports beforehand. Tel Aviv does not require modesty however if you plan to travel to religious sites/cities, be sure to bring a scarf and long pants.
Excellent question! The theme of the night is upstage the bride--so wear whatever makes you feel your absolute best. Be yourself, be comfortable, look STUNNING.
