Providence
Only 10 min away from our venue, Providence RI will be the hub for all of your travel festivities. Providence is home to some incredible restaurants, bars, and more. We recommend getting a hotel in the city to make your stay the most enjoyable. Providence is a very walkable city and has ton of Uber's and Lyfts!
PVDonuts
Looking for a sweet treat in the morning? Head to PVD Donuts. It's one of Providence's main donut shops. Known for their fun and crazy, fun and whimsical donuts and delicious coffee, PVD is one of our favorite spots to visit. We go at least once a month since their menu is always different! If you're planning on going here, be sure to arrive EARLY as the line usually wraps around the block.
Providence Coal Fired Pizza
One of our favorite pizza places in Downtown Providence. Incredible pizza and even better wings! Great for groups or smaller intimate nights! We spend a lot of our dates here.
Bolt Coffee
Our new favorite coffee shop - the best-iced lattes -- as a matter of fact, you'll get to try them at our wedding!
Tricycle Ice Cream
Another one of our favorites - that you'll get to try on our wedding day!
West Side Diner
West Side is the BEST place to grab breakfast in the AM in Providence. It's our favorite place!
Roger Williams Park Zoo
The 40-acre Roger Williams Park Zoo is not only one of the oldest zoos in the country, but it's a paragon of modern zoo design and concept. Head to the zoo or explore the park around it that will be lined with food trucks and activities alike throughout the summer!
Providence Place
Providence Place is the state's biggest mall with over 1,400,000 sq ft of stores & restaurants!
Garden City Center
Want to go shopping? Garden City is an outdoor mall located in Cranston (right next to Providence). It's filled with brand name stores & awesome restaurants!
Troop PVD
Chill hangout with funky decor for eclectic street food fare & cheekily named craft cocktails.
Free Play Bar Arcade
An old school arcade for $10 and unlimited plays, plus a bar with food & a 80s, 90s and 2000s club on top, how can this get any better? Freeplay is one of our go-to bars when we're looking for a night out. It's 21+ and filled with nostalgia galore! For only $10 you can't go wrong.
RISD Museum of Art
If art is more your thing, head to the RISD Museum in downtown Providence! We've never been here but have heard incredible things.
Westminster Street
Westminster St in Providence is one of our favorite and most photogenic. With cobblestone streets and string lights above, it houses only the best of the best small businesses. It's also home to the oldest Mall in America! Definitely a must-see if you're coming to Providence.
Federal Hill
The Federal Hill neighborhood has a salient role in the history of Providence due to its central location within the city. This part of Providence is best known for its Italian American community and abundance of Italian restaurants.
Thayer Street
Walk on over to Thayer St and experience college town galore! Thayer is one of the most known streets in Providence as it's in the heart of Brown University's campus. It houses some incredible restaurants and retail stores and is definitely worth visiting.
Newport
Newport is one of our favorite beach towns to visit in the summer. They have a ton of downtown shops to explore, beaches and beautiful surrounding towns. If you have a few extra days with us, we'd love to show you around as we spend quite a lot of time here in the summer.
Beavertail State Park
Beavertail is one of our go-to spots for when we want to get away from the city life but still experience all of what Rhode Island has to offer in the summer. It's filled with cliffs, rocks, and small little nooks where you can meet the ocean. If you're up for an adventure, this place is definitely for you.
