There is no greater bond than that between father and son. Paul and Ryan are the perfect example of this. Ryan's mother Nancy would always tell them that they fight because they are so similar, and this is no exaggeration. It is fitting that Paul is not only the Father of the Groom, but also Ryan's Best Man. If you ask Ryan, he will tell you that no one on earth knows him better than his father. Although they have had their differences, Ryan and Paul embody the phrase "like father like son".

After meeting at a horse show, Devney and Alysia became instant friends. Almost inseparable no matter the distance, they have had quite a journey together. They can talk daily or not for a week and we pick up exactly where they left off. Alysia has been there through the good, the bad and the ugly and Devney is thrilled to have Alysia by her side for the big day! From the spontaneous road trips to countless inside jokes, no one would ever guess they weren't related! (Unless you have seen them next to each other)

Ryan met Edward back at Lake Norman Elementary School in 5th grade, and they have been best friends ever since. The two of them were always together throughout their years at school and can always count on each other no matter what. Although miles separate them now they have always remained close friends for nearly 15 years.

Christina Lynch

Devney came into Christina's life when she was nine years old. As Devney's only older sister, she has been someone Devney has looked up to for a long time. She started out as the first rider of the family and shortly after, all of the Hoft girls followed suit. Devney has been incredibly lucky to have such an awesome role model. Even though she lives far away, she's never out of touch!

Curtis Needham

Curtis and Ryan met when they were both in the Boy Scouts at Troop 171. Curtis, Ryan and Edward became close friends and led many scout outings together throughout the years. Curtis' house was always the place to go for parties, jet skiing, and swimming.

Only a year and a half in age difference, Devney and Tory have been through all. Little did they know, when they drove their mom and dad crazy fighting like enemies when they were little, that they would eventually learn to get along. And they would actually become best friends. Slowly, they started to learn that their differences could help them, in high school, college, and learning to "Adult".

Zach Dvorak

Zach and Ryan are by far the most similar out of all of the guys. They are the organizers within the group and they both graduated from UNC Chapel Hill where they were roommates. However their friendship started years before college. There was no way these two could meet and not be friends. Although some would consider them the "parents" of the group, both Ryan and Zach would embrace that title.

When Devney was five and Tory was four, they met "Baby Carly". They had a blast playing with her as if she was one of their dolls. Carly quickly put an end to that as they all grew up! She has been a fierce competitor and friend and Devney has had loads of fun helping her as much as possible can along the way!

Josh Dvorak

Josh is far and beyond one of the most outgoing and fun people you will ever meet. He can find the good in anyone and truly enjoys being surrounded by his friends and family. If you ever need someone to stand in your corner, you can always count on Josh, which is why he and Ryan are so close. Josh is extremely genuine and has always been there for Ryan.

Emily Darge

Devney met Emily on Thanksgiving Day in 2014. Devney knew Ryan's entire family had been waiting specifically to meet her that night and she was quite nervous. Emily and Ryan's entire family welcomed Devney with open arms and she could not have been more grateful! From doing her make up for prom, to spending way too much money at Target, Devney is beyond thrilled to have another amazing sister!

Kyle and Ryan also met in Boy Scouts and were close with Curtis and Edward. Their group continued to grow and they hung out almost everyday. Kyle is always known as the "chill" one of the group, but also knows how "hoe down" with the best of them.

Devney had the pleasure of meeting her darling niece when she was a baby. She has been a force to be reckoned with since she graced the world with her presence! It has been and will continue to be a joy to watch her grow! Ryan is thrilled to be gaining a niece and is excited to have her as a part of our special day!

Caleb Bryant

Devney met Caleb when he was two years old! She was training his older sister and he accompanied his mother to watch. This precious wild child has been a blast to watch grow for the past three years and both Ryan and Devney are very excited to have him as a part of the big day!
