Our story began during the COVID pandemic. Hrishikesh was quarantining after recovering from the virus, and Devki had just submitted her medical school applications. Amid these pivotal moments in our lives, we both decided it was the perfect time to search for love, and a few messages later, our connection began. Despite being long-distance while Hrishikesh navigated medical school and Devki started hers, our bond grew stronger with every conversation, filled with laughter, support, and shared dreams. Three years into our relationship, Hrishikesh had hoped Devki could join him on a trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, but her schedule only allowed a quick trip to Mumbai. She jokingly said, “It’s a good thing I can’t come with you to Agra — because if you took me to the Taj Mahal, you would have to propose to me there.” That playful moment became reality when Hrishikesh proposed in Mumbai at the Taj Mahal Palace, marking the start of our next adventure together.
