Question

What is the dress code for our wedding? What is the dress code for our wedding?

Answer

Below is the finalized Dress Code and FAQ DRESS CODE: BLACK TIE We are hosting a formal, black-tie celebration and kindly ask all guests to dress accordingly. Women: Floor-length gowns or sophisticated formal dresses. Men: Tuxedo or formal suit with tie. Luxury formal sneakers are welcome if clean, and dress-appropriate. Please no flip flops, shorts, denim, t-shirts, or resort daywear. We also ask that attire remain elegant and not overly revealing. As a tribute to the bride and groom, we invite each guest to incorporate a touch of mauve into their look. Frequently Asked Questions What does “Black Tie” mean for this wedding? Black Tie means formal evening attire. Although our celebration is at a resort, this is an elevated, luxury event. Can I wear a short dress? We strongly encourage floor-length gowns to maintain the formal aesthetic of the evening. If choosing a shorter dress, it should remain structured and formal. Are casual shoes or sandals allowed? No. Please select formal footwear only. Men may wear luxury formal sneakers that are clean and dress-appropriate. What does “not overly revealing” mean? We kindly ask guests to select attire that is elegant and refined. Extremely sheer garments, visible undergarments, or excessively revealing styles do not align with the atmosphere we are creating. What is the mauve tribute? Each guest is invited to incorporate a subtle touch of mauve — through a tie, pocket square, shawl, clutch, jewelry accent, or small detail. Is this an adults-only wedding? Yes. While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. What does “unplugged ceremony” mean? We ask that guests refrain from using cell phones or personal cameras during the ceremony and reception so that everyone may be fully present. Our professional photographers will capture every moment. Latia & DeVito 08.16.2026"
