At the Ocean Course clubhouse, you'll find the Ryder Cup Bar, a casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily with great views of the ocean and golf course. The Nest Cafe located in Night Heron Park offers baked goods, coffee, and gourmet made-to-order sandwiches. The Sanctuary Hotel has three restaurants: The Ocean Room (steakhouse), Jasmine Porch (southern), and the Loggerhead Grill (poolside cafe). The Sanctuary also has a coffee shop and a great bar in the lobby. There are several restaurants in Freshfields Village, located just off the island. Our favorites are La Tela (Italian), Harvest (smoothies, salads, grain bowls), The Co-Op (sandwiches and frosé!), Cafe Eugenia (cafe and gourmet market), Java Java (coffee shop), and FortyEight (wine bar). Located about 10 minutes off the island, Linnette’s at The Dunlin Hotel serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
Freshfields Village has a grocery store, wine store, liquor store, gas station, pharmacy, and more. The Nest Cafe also carries a selection of groceries, including beer and wine. In addition, Whole Foods will deliver to the island (through Amazon).

We recommend booking tee times as early as possible as this is a very busy time of year for golf! Kiawah is known for its miles of flat bike trails. Biking both on the trails and on the beach is a quintessential Kiawah experience.
