Question

GUEST BOOK REQUEST- deadline 04/30/2025

Answer

In lieu of a guest book we are making a recipe book of all our loved ones favorite recipes! Whether your are attending or not please send one in! Please submit a copy of a recipe you want to contribute to the guest book. At the wedding you will locate your recipe page and write in the note you want to leave. Please email it to Oliviapaloma13@gmail.com Or mail it to our address.

Question

Can we park at the venue?

Answer

There is NO PARKING at the venue. If you choose to drive, you can find street parking or public parking. Due to the time of year we highly recommend taking an Uber or booking accommodations close to the venue.

Question

Can children attend?

Answer

While we absolutely adore the little ones, this wedding will be child-free.

Question

Where is the Wedding?

Answer

Ceremony - Cathedral Basillica of St. Augustine @ 4-5 PM Reception- The Treasury on the Plaza @ 5-10 PM

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

The attire is "Formal". This means floor length dresses for women, and a suit and tie for men. The weather may be chilly so bring shawls or jackets to keep warm.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are no hotel blocks booked. We recommend looking for a hotel, Bed and Breakfast, or Air BnB close to the venue. Regardless of where you book it is IMPERATIVE you book as soon as possible. Our wedding is during a popular time called “Nights of Lights” and hotels will be highly inflated.

Question

What Transportation Is there to/from the Venue?

Answer

Most hotels are within walking distance. If they are not we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft as there will be NO VENUE PARKING. The church is 30 feet away from the reception hall so there is no transportation needed between the 2.

Question

I am not Catholic - Should I go to the ceremony?

Answer

Whatever makes you the most comfortable. While we would love to have all of you at the ceremony we recognize that not everyone feels comfortable attending a religious ceremony that does not align with their personal beliefs. If you feel uncomfortable please feel free to join us at the reception only. If you feel comfortable attending all are welcome and encouraged to come.

Question

What is a Catholic Wedding Like?

Answer

It is an hour long ceremony. The priest will explain when you need to sit, stand, or kneel throughout the service.
