Celebrate with us on an Alaskan Cruise

We both went to Fort Hays State University for undergrad though our paths never crossed. Devin and I met while I was in Boston for an internship in the summer of 2018. He took me to a Red Sox game at Fenway, called his friends after the game, and told them he was going to marry me. He worked for months to become my best friend and I still can't get over his smile when he looks at me. We were long-distance for the first two years of our relationship while I was finishing up undergrad in Kansas and he was in law school in Boston. In 2020 we moved in together and quickly adjusted to living in the city during the pandemic. We now live outside of Boston with our cat, Bubbles.

After four years together, Devin asked the question on an Alaskan cruise. On the third night, we went to an elegant steakhouse dinner and the moment I sat down there was a "special delivery": a plate with "Will you marry me?" was placed in front of me and Devin got down on one knee. I immediately said YES. We were then surprised with an engagement photo shoot on the top deck of the ship (huge thanks to Mom and Dad). I know now that three months of planning went into that day and I will never forget the smile on Devin's face when I said yes.

Zoey grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado which started her love for the outdoors (boating, fishing, hiking, and laying by the pool). I completed my B.S. at Fort Hays State University in December 2019 and worked as a server while in school. I am now working on finishing my Ph.D. in Biology from Boston College. My future plans are to teach higher education.

Devin spent equal time growing up in Providence, RI, and Salina, KS. Devin spent his first year of undergrad at K-State before transferring and completing his degree at Fort Hays State University. He then moved back up to Boston and met his future bride the summer before starting law school. Devin graduated from law school and passed the bar exam summer of 2021. Since then, he has been an Esports Attorney for CarterPulse specializing in contracts, negotiations, and talent management. In addition to taking on the role of cat dad.
