Our ceremony and reception will both be at Aurora Cellars, located at 7788 E Horn Rd, Lake Leelanau, MI 49653.

Answer

Our wedding will be an outdoor affair. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be set on the grassy lawn and the reception will be held under the permanent tent with concrete flooring. We can’t wait to celebrate surrounded by the nature that makes northern Michigan so special to us.

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at 3:50 PM. Please allow enough time to find your seat and visit with friends and family. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:15 pm.

Answer

We invite guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal garden attire that keeps you confident, comfortable, and ready to dance the night away. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so flat shoes, block heels, wedges—or Whitney’s go-to move of ditching her shoes altogether—are highly encouraged. For colors, the bride will be in white, and the bridesmaids will wear taupe. We ask that guests avoid white or ivory dresses, but otherwise, please wear whatever makes you feel your best!

We adore your little ones, but due to space limitations we kindly ask that it be an adults-only celebration. Our little ring bearer, Whitney’s nephew, will be part of the day, and we hope you’ll understand this special arrangement. Thank you for helping us create a fun and relaxing evening for everyone!

Yes! Aurora Cellars has a lot with free parking for all guests.

Answer

Is water wet? Cocktails, beer, and Aurora Cellars wine will be available at the open bar. With this in mind, please plan a safe way to get home. Shuttles will be offered to select hotels (see Travel section). Ubers/Lyfts are limited in this area.
